Cape Town - Kelly Clarkson has some words of wisdom for Taylor Swift as she continues her public battle with Scooter Braun.
Kelly appears to be on Taylor's side in the messy debacle that culminated in a blog post by the Shake it Off singer explaining that her previous record label boss has the rights to all of her master recordings and had sold them to Scooter Braun.
In the post, Taylor expressed her concern about Scooter owning the masters and also spoke about fears about her future income, as whoever owns a master recording, gets the money for all streams, downloads and purchases.
Kelly said a tweet to Taylor: "@taylorswift13 just a thought, U should go in & re-record all the songs that U don't own the masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions," she tweeted at the singer on Saturday. "I'd buy all of the new versions just to prove a point." The tweet was sent on Saturday.
