Kenny Lattimore has been travelling to South Africa for the past twenty years and he is back again promoting his latest album titled Vulnerable. “I love my South African fans because they are knowledgeable about music and very enthusiastic,” he says joyfully. Kenny will be performing at the Sun Arena at Times square Menlyn Pretoria on Freedom Day.

The For You hit maker had taken a break from music, but has returned to fulfil his purpose. “The gap was not planned but necessary. My son needed me be in his life on another level to raise him. I needed to take him to school and be in the classroom grading papers with the teachers.” Explaining his reason for making music Kenny says, “My purpose is to sing to the hearts of women and speak to the hearts of men.”

Kenny tells Move! that this concert is about showcasing his latest album. “This show I’m about to do is going to be more about my new album but it will not leave the fans that have been with me disappointed,” he says. The R&B legend says the concert is going to be intimate and he will be talking love.

The crooner even celebrated his birthday in the country.
