Lady Zamar opens up about being anxious about her upcoming album | Drum

Cape Town - Lady Zamar is worried about her upcoming album. After the success of her 2017 album King Zamar, the songstress admits that she is nervous about how the people will receive her soon to be released project.

In a series of tweets the singer opens up about how this new body of work has impacted her emotionally. She felt drained at times, but she is now satisfied with the music.

The pressure has been on with my second solo project and I don’t know if South Africa and the world will enjoy it but I am satisfied with the music I’ve been creating.. I am excited and I have no idea what to expect from here on on.

With that being said, the singer reveals that this time around she will give fans what she couldn’t say in the previous album. The album’s title has not been released yet but she says it will be a story about her relationships.

Relationships of all kind but focusing on my intimate, sexual and personal relationships..

The Collide hitmaker who has been romantically linked to artist Sjava says she is getting quite personal on the album.

Yeah we dated from June 2017 and ended things March 2019... That’s all so y’all can stop with the questions..Yes he denied it to the media but that’s coz we wanted it to be a private thing... Cats out the bag I guess.. such a pity it had to come out this way.

One other thing worth taking note of is her emphasis on a new-found freedom.

“I’ve got a lot to say that I didn’t get a chance to say because I wasn’t free,” she said. Her recent single, This is love is a glimpse of what is to come.

This Is Love starts the beginning of this new chapter of the musician artist Lady Zamar and the emancipation of me, Yamikani the writer singer.

We all got stuff to deal with and I hope to entertain all my fans and get new ones with this new collection of music.
