Local act Roxphere tells us all about their brand new single

Cape Town – Local duo Roxphere released their debut single, Good Enough, on Friday.

Consisting of a twin brother-duo from Pretoria, Roxphere's music is an energetic indie pop/rock blend with a mix of R&B.

We get to know them a bit better:

When did music start for you?

Our music journey started separately at the ages of 12 & 14 when we experimented vocally and instrumentally. This exposure to music from a young age helped establish a passion for it. Through the years we have performed and showcased with other artists getting to know the industry and discovering our own sound. It is the energy we get from the people who continue to inspire us to do what we love. Roxphere was formed in April, 2012.

What is the one thing no one knows about you?

Haha, that is a difficult question especially if you want to keep it a secret. The one thing most people do not know about us is that we are very open minded people, we love to experience the moments that are presented to us. Get to know people on another level, and see what they have to offer.

Your new single, what is the song about and what inspired it?

Good Enough was inspired by personal events and experiences. It is about the importance of knowing that you are good enough. Be it for you Creator, loved ones and in any other part of your life you can relate the song to.

Who are your musical influences?

We are influenced by many different artists, styles and genres. Every artist has their own unique way of portraying their music creatively. They are The Weeknd, Year's & years, Galantis and many more.

What can people expect to hear and see from you in the future?

We are currently working on our album for future launch, as we'll be releasing the songs from the album as singles throughout the year. We challenge our followers to join us in this journey of self realisation and discovering who we are as Roxphere.

You can buy the song on iTunes here.
