It’s easy to get caught up in the doom and gloom when nearly the whole world has been brought to a standstill.

However, some of our favourite artists are still releasing some feel-good music to lighten up the mood on the interwebs.

CHECK OUT THE TUNES HERE:

Karen Zoid

A day before the lockdown started in SA, award-winning singer Karen Zoid and her band took to the studio to record together one last time.

After sharing a snippet of the song titled Toe Die Wereld Stil Gaan Staan on social media, it became a highly anticipated music release amongst her fans.

The song featuring Early B got over 100 000 views on YouTube in just six days.

Juanita du Plessis

Singer Juanita du Plessis sings about new beginnings and overcoming internal battles in her new single Dis Tyd.

During this time, many people are in an introspective mood and this song makes for good background music.

Andrea Bocelli

The renowned Duomo di Milano cathedral in Milan, Italy might be closed due to the pandemic, but Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and organist Emanuele Vianelli were given access to the church on Easter Sunday for a ground-breaking live-streamed performance.

The performance, titled Music For Hope, received more than 3 million views on social media in less than 24 hours.

Demi Lee Moore

In the spirit of the Easter weekend, Demi Lee Moore and newcomer artist Riaan Benadé recorded a song titled There Was Jesus, in an attempt to positively influence people's perspectives during this time. Have a listen.
