Miley Cyrus makes a triumphant return to stage after break-up with Kaitlynn Carter

Cape Town - Miley Cyrus made a triumphant return to the stage after her break-up with her reported split with Kaitlynn Carter making headlines.

The 26-year-old performed onstage during the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday.

On the same day  E! News said that Miley and Kaitlynn had split but "there was no drama between the two" and they parted as friends.

During her performance, Miley belted out her new song Don't Call Me Angel for the first time (without her fellow 'angels' Ariana Grande and Lana Del Rey) and also wailed out rock classics by Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

The singer started her set with her, and Mark Ronson's hit Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.

The music festival in Sin City continued the following day and featured Def Leppard, Chance the Rapper, Marshmello and more.
