Cape Town - Miley Cyrus has dropped her new song Slide Away, which people think may be about her split from her husband, Liam Hemsworth.
Some of the lyrics that have people thinking it's about the split are: "Woke up one day it had turned to dust/baby we were found but now we're lost/so it's time to let it go."
Miley also sings: "Move on, we're not 17, I'm not who I used to be." The couple met in 2009 on the set of Nicholas Sparks' romantic drama The Last Song, when the 26-year-old singer was around that age.
A recent article by TMZ alleged that one of the reasons behind the couple's breakup was alcohol and drug abuse. In the lyrics, Miley sings: "I want my house in the hills/don't want the whiskey and pills/I don't give up easily, but I don't think I'm down."
Miley and Liam announced their split on 10 August after less than a year of marriage.
