Missy Elliot is looking for backing dancers and no one knows why

Cape Town – Missy Elliott announced via Twitter on Monday that she is looking for backing dancers.

According to the tweet the auditions will be held this Friday, 9 June at 20:00 sharp in Atlanta. Missy states that she’s "looking for dancers strong in choreography" and urges applicants to "do your research on Missy."

Since the tweet, speculation has been rife that the Work It star will be announcing a tour soon. For most it’s quite a mystery though, as the only upcoming performance for Missy is a headlining gig at the FYF Festival in July.

A few publications have reached out to Missy’s management, but they have not commented yet.

Missy dropped a new single in January, titled I’m Better, together with a video.
