Newly unearthed notes reveal that Prince really didn't like Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran

Cape Town – Music legend and innovator, Prince, wasn't a big fan of Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry before his death in 2016. In a series of unearthed notes and letters, the seven-time Grammy winner reportedly lamented the music industry for "trying to ram" the two singers "down our throats".

He added: "We don't like [their music] no matter how many times they play it."

The letters are featured in a new book called The Beautiful Ones. The book - which features a series of treasures from the late icon's estate - was compiled by Dan Piepenbring and will be released on 29 October, internationally.
