Offset buys a car for the man who helped him following his accident

Cape Town - Offset has rewarded a good Samaritan, who helped him after his a car accident, with a new car.

Earlier this month, the Migos rapper was seriously injured as his Dodge Challenger was involved in an accident in Atlanta.

The rapper revealed on his Instagram the level of injuries he suffered, as he posted pics of his blooded hand and his neck in a brace.

His fiancé, Cardi B, then posted in since deleted tweet that Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was injured trying to avoid a ‘crack head’ in the road.

Following the accident, Jamar, a passer-by who was walking to work helped Offset emerge from the wreckage.

The Bad and Boujee hit maker has now rewarded Jamar with a new car, which he showed off on twitter, as a thank you for saving his life.


In a subsequent video posted by World Star Hip Hop, Offset said about Jamar, “this my boy … saved my life when I had that accident.

“He was the only one who seen it, help me get out the car, help me walk, help me get to where I needed to get to. So, I bought my boy a car ’cause, you know, he was walking to work when he saved my life. God is good.”


Offset’s accident happened in the early morning hours of May 16.

Police say they still continue to investigate the circumstances around the accident.
