OMG! Is Kanye West illegally downloading music?

Los Angeles – The internet has been going crazy after Kanye West tweeted a pic of his desktop showing one of his tabs open to Pirate Bay.

Kanye, who has been making news headlines recently for his Twitter rants, shared a photo of his internet activity on Tuesday night showing him listening to Sufjan Stevens’ Death With Dignity. But nothing gets past the internet, as it was soon pointed out that Kanye also had tabs open to popular torrenting site Pirate Bay as well as Xfer Records Serum, a music editing programme and a Media Downloader, which is used to rip music and videos from websites such as YouTube.

This comes after it was recently reported by Hollywood Life that Kanye is contemplating legal action against Pirate Bay due to his new album, The Life of Pablo, having been pirated over 500 000 times in just 24 hours.

The fact that he had Pirate Bay open was not the only concern however, as producer Deadmau5 took to Twitter accusing him of stealing the programme Serum by Xfer Records. According to the Daily Mail, the music production programme retails for $189 and is used to produce high-quality sound with an easy-to-use interface.

A clearly upset Deadmau5, who is also the co-founder of Xfer Records, even suggested a Kickstarter campaign for Kanye so he can afford to buy Serum. See the tweets below:

Even  thought it's still unclear what exactly Kanye was doing on those sites, Twitter users had a go at the rapper for posting the snap. Check out some of the tweets below:
