OneSight Acoustics returns with four music events for a good cause

Cape Town - Given the major success of OneSight Acoustics over the past four years, the much-anticipated initiative is back again for yet another thrilling series of music events.

With four events taking place in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, OneSight Acoustics is set to showcase some of South Africa’s most talented musicians with an exciting line-up of artists across all genres.

Powered by Ray-Ban, the primary objective for OneSight Acoustics is to raise profits towards OneSight;a non-profit organisation providing sustainable access to quality vision care and eyewear in underserved communities worldwide.

"Clear vision does not only mean providing a pair of glasses for someone in need...", says Naadhira Khan, Program Manager at OneSight South Africa, "but this pair of glasses means that students become more effective at school, employees to be more productive at work and even increase their earning potential and it helps us all to deepen our connection to the people and communities around us"

Over the past few years, since the introduction of OneSight Acoustics, the collaborative effort of Ray-Ban brand ambassadors and some of South Africa’s top local talent has contributed to the success of this great initiative. This year is no different. The line-up includes The Rudimentals, Jimmy Nevis, Majozi, Goodluck, Reason, Desmond and the Tutus, BCUC and many more talented musicians.

Tickets:

This year, OneSight Acoustics will be doing things differently with their ticketing system as each person chooses how much to donate to the cause. R50 gets you into the event, R100 offers an eye test for for a patient and R150 offers an eye test as well as a pair of frames for someone in need. There will be food specials and discounts available at both venues.

More about OneSight:

Since 1988, OneSight has engaged thousands of skilled volunteers to hand-deliver the gift of sight to close to 10 million people in 46 countries worldwide. Help OneSight to eradicate the global vision crisis, affecting more than half a billion people, whose sight could be restored with an eye exam and a pair of glasses. Money raised from this event will specifically go towards the vision clinics hosted in SouthAfrica.

Our shared passion for giving the best care to every patient is what sets us apart. We hold ourselves to the highest standard of care no matter where in the world we are working. This means that patients receive comprehensive eye exams and new, top-quality eyewear that allows them to see, look, and feel their best. Because each community is different, we develop solutions customised to meet local needs. Patients then walk away empowered to give their best to theirfamilies, employers and communities.
