Cape Town - Ozzy Osbourne has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
In an interview aired on US talk show Good Morning America on Tuesday - with Robin Roberts - the Black Sabbath frontman described 2019 as the "most painful and miserable year" of his life.
Ozzy, 71, said: "I did my last show New Year's Eve at The Forum. Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed up all my nerves."
Ozzy's wife and manager Sharon (67), then explained the heavy metal pioneer's diagnosis, which followed the fall: "It's PRKN 2."
She went on: "There's so many different types of Parkinson's; it's not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination, but it does affect certain nerves in your body…you have a good day, a good day, and then a really bad day."
