Cape Town - Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul performed at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, which were held in Las Vegas, on Wednesday.
The 56-year-old singer's six-minute medley of her most classic songs happened at the close of the jam-packed show and left the crowd gobsmacked.
Paula wore a black shimmering leotard and sang her hit song Straight Up before climbing the stage and jumping into the arms of several male dancers.
The icon's performance at the award show coincided with the 30 year anniversary of the song's release.
Drake was the big winner on the night and got everyone talking when he thanked Arya Stark in one of his speeches.
