Pete Doherty challenges Liam Gallagher to boxing match

Cape Town - Pete Doherty has challenged Liam Gallagher to a boxing match to end their feud over their backing bands.

The Libertines frontman has jokingly suggested he would like to face former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher in a boxing match. 

When interviewed on Phil Taggart's Slacker Podcast, Pete said: "I think we should have a sponsored boxing match and the loser gets Drew" referring to his former guitarist, Drew McConnell who the indie musician says that Gallagher' stole'.
