New York - Pusha T’s new album Daytona debuted at number 1 on Billboard’s rap and R&B/hip-hop albums chart.
The Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum artist’s collection of 7 songs also debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
The rapper’s third studio album was produced entirely Kanye West and was released 25 May via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings with an infamously controversial album cover.
The seven-track Daytona amassed 77,000 units in its first week, over half of which were traditional album sales. The album also collected 53.8 million on-demand audio streams for those seven songs during the tracking week.
