Soweto Gospel Choir and Zolani Mahola perform Asimbonanga with Johnny Clegg's band

Cape Town – The Soweto Gospel Choir and Zolani Mahola performed Asimbonanga with Johnny Clegg's band at the late performer's memorial service on Friday.

Johnny died earlier this month on Tuesday, 16 July and was buried the next day in a private ceremony.

The song was first released in 1994, and it was written in tribute to Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko, and others who fought Apartheid.
