Cape Town – The Weekend literally just dropped a new album out of nowhere and we can’t contain our excitement.
After implying new music on Instagram with short clips simply captioned “mastering” in recent weeks and dropping a massive hint with the album art cover on Thursday, The Weeknd released his fourth studio album called My Dear Melancholy at midnight.

The album features six tracks which totals to 21 minutes of listening.

According to E! News a music video is imminent after TMZ recently spotted the 28-year-old – who is one of the headlining acts at Coachella 2018 set to take place in April - filming in a small town 120 miles north of Los Angeles.
