The Foo Fighters perform 'Under Pressure' with Freddie Mercury lookalike

Cape Town – The Foo Fighters headlined the famous Leeds Festival this past weekend and surprised fans with a royal cameo. In a candid moment, lead singer, Dave Grohl spotted a fan in the crowd dressed like Freddie Mercury and brought him on stage.

The audience member was wearing a yellow jacket and white pants with red-and-gold stripes down the sides. The iconic outfit was worn many times by Freddie over his impressive, yet all too short, career.

Dave said to the crowd: "Alright ladies and gentlemen, Taylor Hawkins is going to sing a song while Freddie Mercury works the stage."

For those who don't know Taylor is the drummer in the band so while he moved to centre stage, Dave sat behind the drums. As Nirvana fans will know, Dave was a drummer in the ground-breaking band and spoke about that time in his life recently in an interview.

The Foo Fighters – and the fan named Ryan – performed Queen and David Bowie's mega-hit Under Pressure.
