Looks like The Weeknd isn't quite over his ex and wants the world as a whole to know through song.

In a new track, titled After Hours, the artist croons: "Oh, baby/Where are you now when I need you most?" Adding: "I'd give it all just to hold you close/Sorry that I broke your heart."

"This time, I won't break your heart," he continues.

The 30-year-old seems to be thinking about settling down, making things right and making up for once and always.

Singing about children he belts: "I wanna share babies/Protection, we won't need/Your body next to me/Is just a memory/I'm fallin' in too deep/Without you, I'm asleep/It's on me, only me/Talk to me/Without you, I can't breathe."

While the artist's – whose birth name is Abel Tesfaye - didn't name any names, a few fans suspected the tune was a reference to Bella Hadid.

The pair have had a famously tumultuous relationship, breaking up and making up more times than we can count.
