Cape Town - South African husband and wife duo, the Bottomless Coffee Band, is currently in Scotland where they are performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the first time.

Lourens and Esté Rabé, who released their debut album in November 2014, have already played shows in Amsterdam and London as part of their European tour before heading to Scotland.

They have been sharing their journey with us in the form of a tour diary, so if you missed the first one, click here!

Check out their second diary entry here:

Time is flying and our official week at the festival has started after a week of radio and promotional shows.

This also marks our last week abroad and the magnitude of the inspiration gained is already starting to make us feel nostalgic.

Our first show was truly a magical experience. Our tech team is amazing and the mystery of having audience members from all over the world gives an exciting edge to the show. Performing for an international audience definitely broadens ones horizons and challenges how one presents a show - learning: check!

Tucked in between venues and literary in between shows! Last night we spent 5 hours back to back watching different shows at the other venues in our company, The Space. The diversity was lovely and the talent incredible. The shows included improvisation (Absolute Improv), a drama on the world of the mafia (Family Values), a stand-up comedy (by a naked lady ????), and a music show about a guy who gets obsessed with Johnny Cash (All Cashed In). 4 shows down, another 3265 to go ???? (and they run right throughout the night) WOW - a real celebration of the arts! We can't wait for our shows to start on Monday every day until Friday at 12:50 at The Space @ Symposium Hall Amphitheater! #edfringe #edfringe2016 #defythenorm

We also have the privilege of watching any other shows in our venue company, The Space, for free. So we've seen the greatest acts performing in hotel conference rooms, churches, cafés and office buildings. Whatever the space, they turn it into a theatre.

Inspiration overload.
