Troye Sivan slams journalist over 'wildly invasive' question

Cape Town - South African born singer Troye Sivan has called out a journalist who asked him whether he's a "top or bottom".

The journalist is named Matt Fistonich and he's from a LGBTQ magazine titled, Express in New Zealand.

Matt asked Troye the question as part of a series of rapid-fire questions at the end of their interview. To which Troye responded: "Ooh... definitely passing!".

The interaction was published in the September issue ahead of the singer's Bloom tour date in Auckland.

Troye called the journalist out on Twitter, saying: "I thought about asking the interviewer about his absolute fave sex position after that last question, but then I remembered how wildly invasive, strange and inappropriate that would be... Didn’t stop him though!".

The tweet included a photo of the printed interview, posted by a fan.
