Turns out, Lizzo is 100 percent that sick after cancelling two shows

Cape Town - Truth Hurts singer Lizzo cancelled two scheduled performances after coming down with the flu.

The first was at Boston's KISS 108 Jingle Ball on 15 December, and the other at the Hot 93.7 Jingle Jam on Tuesday according to NBC.

The famous singer – who has had her share of ups and downs this year - is also scheduled to perform as the musical guest on this week's Saturday Night Live. 

No word yet as to whether or not that performance will go ahead as planned. 

"NO MORE FEVER THANK U GOD," the 31-year-old wrote on Twitter along with a picture of a thermometer on Tuesday. 

Adding: "Thank y'all for the kind words and prayers that really helped."
