WATCH: Adam Lambert's version of Believe made Cher cry and we can totally see why

Cape Town – American singer Adam Lambert performed at the 2018 Kennedy Centre Honours, to pay tribute to music icon (and honouree at the event) Cher.  

Adam turned Cher’s dance hit Believe into a gorgeous power ballad that moved the audience (including Cher) to tears and has since gone viral. 

Other honourees at the event - which took place on Monday, 3 December - included Reba McEntire, Philip Glass and Wayne Shorter.
