Cape Town - Craig David treated several of his London fans to a surprise performance when he broke out in song on a bus on Tuesday.

The 36-year-old singer was filmed singing an acoustic rendition of his smash hit 7 Days to unsuspecting passengers, as they drove through the capital on a double-decker bus.

He also sang his new single, Magic, from his seventh album, The Time Is Now.

The singer had tweeted earlier that same day to say he was about to do a "special acoustic set" that would be streamed on Facebook, but he didn’t elaborate on where it would take place.

As Craig starts singing thrilled passengers rush down from the upper deck when they realise it’s really him performing onboard. As the song gets into full swing those who know his songs start singing along!

Needless to say, many were upset that they weren’t the lucky ones treated to the lively performance.

And one viewer said as much on Facebook: “I'm so gutted for not being on that bus today . . . was meant to be involved in the market research if I knew it would mean seeing you again I would have jumped the chance I missed my time today feeling blue.(sic)”
