Cape Town - LucanTV recently teamed up with Haddad Viljoen at the official album launch of Die Heuwels Fantasties to create one of South Africa’s first 360°music videos.
The video for Gebruik My off their new album release, Okay!, has been officially released.
According to Pierre Greeff, lead singer and founding member of Die Heuwels Fantasties, the band knew they wanted to do something great with this new album. "As far as we know, this is the first time that a music video has been recorded directly in virtual reality (360° video) in South Africa," says Pierre. "People who were not at the launch on the 5th of May can now experience how it was and feel as if they are on stage with us," he adds.
360° videos are shot at the same time with multiple cameras and then combined into one video to capture the full essence of the group.

Die Heuwels Fantasties will be joining forces on stage with legendary songstress Laurika Rauch, the super talented Loki Rothman and Jo Black for Liefde by die Arena in Cape Town in July.Liefde by die Arena event details:
