Cape Town - South Africa’s latest Idols SA winner Yanga Sobetwa has released the much-awaited music video for her track Promised Land, which is also the name of her debut album.

In this motivational song she features award-winning singer Amanda Black and the Grammy award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir.

She has described her debut album as gospel with lots of other genres. "You're going to be inspired, it's fresh and anthemic, like a song for the World Cup. It's about love, peace and inspiration, very much like nation building," she told Sowetan Live about the song.

Since the petite lady with a strong voice dropped her album in early May it’s been well received, and she took to her social media to announce that it’s on the number one spot on iTunes pop charts and number two on overall charts.

"Check this out guys we hit number 1 on iTunes pop charts and 2 on overall charts, thank you, I really don't know how to thank you guys," she tweeted.
