WATCH: Imagine Dragons have a new video and it has more twists than a soapie

Cape Town – Las Vegas rock band Imagine Dragons are back with a new music video and it’s super cinematic. South Africans were big fans of the band's last single - titled Thunder - which became one of the most streamed songs in the country earlier this year. 

It tells the story of a troubled protagonist and the woman he loves. Lead singer Dan Reynolds takes a starring role and is a great leading man in this epic mini-movie.

SPOILER ALERT: There’s heartbreak and angst. 

The video was released on Tuesday and is for the song Next To Me.
