WATCH: Justin Timberlake recalls being pelted with bottles full of urine at benefit concert

In a recent interview on The Graham Norton Show, singer and songwriter Justin Timberlake spoke about an incident in Canada when he was pelted with bottles full of urine.

The actor – who lends his voice to the animated movie, Trolls World Tour – told the shocked audience about how he flew to Canada to perform at the request of Rolling Stone, lead singer Mick Jagger. In case you don't know Trolls World Tour, is the sequel to the 2016 animated film, Trolls.

When the 39-year-old arrived at the festival – which he said was supported by half a million people and held to benefit a charity – he noticed how he seemed like the odd one out of a fairly hard-rocking line-up and didn't expect it to go well.

That being said, it went even worse than he expected it to, unfortunately. He ended up having to dodge the disgusting projectiles that were launched at this head.

Justin was a guest on the British talk show along with Oscar-nominated actress Anna Kendrick, his co-star in the animated sequel, Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse and comedian Alan Carr as well as Sam Smith.

Trolls World Tour will be released in South African cinemas on 10 April.
