Local filmmaker Ari Kruger in 2010 started filming a short documentary capturing the story of Monique Cassells, then an admin clerk at Media24.

Monique is the only female Elvis Presley tribute Artist in South Africa and performed at the Elvis Festival Africa in Storms River at the time.

Ari and cameraman Richard Aaron followed Monique’s interesting story, but the doccie was never released online due to music licensing issues.

Sketchbook Studios on Wednesday finally released the short doccie online, saying: "We decided to use the lockdown time to dust it off and release it online for the world and the Elvis fans to see. We hope that you enjoy it!"

Ari and wife Julia Anastasopoulos are the duo behind the iconic local characters Suzelle DIY and Tali from the hit Showmax original, Tali's Wedding Diary
