Johannesburg – Joburg was abuzz on Saturday when Absolut’s One Source Live combined fashion, art and music to bring one killer event.
The event saw the likes of Khuli Chana and Sho Madjozi take to the stage for amazing performances, while Trevor Stuurman showed off some his designs in a unique fashion show. Sculptor Fabrice Monteiro had guests in awe with a few of his pieces on display, while another major highlight for the evening was the return of Bongo Maffin after over a decade apart.
Set in the Johannesburg CBD, One Source Live also offered guests the opportunity to buy local goods from vendors at the Market of Art, and there was no short supply of delicious meals either with food trucks on standby for anyone who craved a bite to eat.
Speaking to Channel24 about the success of the event Absolut ambassador Khuli Chana said: "Just witnessing it come alive made me feel like it really helps to trust in the process and to believe in yourself. This has to be one of the toughest campaigns that I think we've ever embarked on. Cause when you create a party with a purpose, it's not easy."
