Cape Town - Robbie Wessels wrote a song for Rugby World Cup winning captain Siya Kolisi and it makes us feel like we won the trophy all over again! It's been a few weeks since The South African Springboks won the coveted prize in world sport and we're still on a high, so the local singer and songwriter decided to capture the moment in a single now that all of the parades and victory tours have ended.
About the track which is simply titled Siya Kolisi, Robbie says: "The song is also about how the Springboks' World Cup victory brought us together as a nation. It’s about Siya Kolisi and the role he played in unifying us. I hope it motivates anyone who has been in difficult circumstances to take on life’s challenges and to try make a success of their lives." The music video was directed and produced by AVC Studios.
