Cape Town - Since 24-year-old Vernon Barnard was featured in The Voice SA, he’s become a definite hit with South Africans.
He’s debut album is due for release only in 2018, but the singer hasn’t been a slouch in coming up with the goods.
He’s just released a second single, titled Voel, along with a music video for the song.
He’s collaborated with artists Vaughan Gardiner, Nerine Gardiner and Hugo Ludik on the productions.
The new song is about a guy who wants to make the love of his life feel special.
“The song’s lyrics and meaning is exactly what I’m striving for and want to be as a person,” Vernon says.
“I believe the more you believe in the subject you’re singing about, the more sincere your interpretation is. That’s why I choose songs with a constructive message, in this case unconditional love and support.”
