GoodLuck will be turning their yard into a music venue on Saturday 25 April, and they're going big.

Speaking to Channel24 about their Sunsets & Cocktails virtual concert, Juliet Harding from the group said the event is "an opportunity for us to raise a bit of money to continue what we're doing, which is feeding thousands of people in Vrygrond and actually spreading out to a few other communities."

Twenty percent of funds raised from the virtual show will go towards feeding families who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

While it may be taking place on their lawn, the group plans on pulling out all the stops. "We're going to have all our big show-stopping effects. We're bringing in our sparklers, we've got smoke machines, we've got lighting," Juliet says, adding that the idea of the show is to engage with fans and play the music they want to hear.

Tickets are on sale for R120 and the show starts at 18:00. So far, GoodLuck's crowdfunding page, aimed at raising money to help those in need, has raised almost R300 000. To donate, visit the site here
