We just received the most epic Oppikoppi competition entry yet!

Cape Town – We recently ran a competition for our readers where they could win an Oppikoppi experience worth R10 000.

To enter the competition, you had to take a snap of the survival kit that you will be packing for Oppikoppi, put it on Instagram and tag us.

We were totally overwhelmed with all the awesome and creative entries we received! Check out the 10 best entries here.

Our winning entry really blew us away though.

Sent in by Sarah Omar, the entry was in the form of a video with Sarah taking on the role of a reporter for Channel24, reporting from Oppikoppi.

We just loved it!

See the entry here:

We had a quick chat with our winner Sarah:

How does it feel to win the Oppikoppi experience?

It’s the best feeling in the world, no exaggeration! I have literally not stopped talking about it. I've phoned everyone I know, screaming with excitement. We had such fun making the video and winning is the absolute cherry on top.

What inspired you to make the creative video and who helped you?

My friends and I saw the competition and thought it would be a fun Saturday night activity. We immediately got creative. It came so naturally to all of us. Danni sorted out the props, Tauriq did the lights and Nolan did the camera work and editing. We are pretty much a dream team.

What is the one thing you’re looking forward to the most at Oppikoppi?

I can’t wait to spend time with my friends and just forget about Joburg. We can't wait to dance in the dust!

*Congrats again Sarah!
