Cape Town – If you’re feeling miserable and left out because you just didn’t have enough money to buy a ticket to Daisies or Oppikoppi this year, or maybe you just forgot, not to worry, as we’ve got you covered!

Bastille
British rockers Bastille still have two shows left in South Africa after playing in Cape Town on Wednesday night. Catch them live in Durban today at the Botanical Gardens. Gates open at 16:00 with opening acts Matthew Mole and Tresor starting at 18:00. Tickets cost R495. Click here to book your spot.

You can also catch Bastille on Saturday in Johannesburg at Emmarentia Dam. Gates open at 10:30 with opening acts Opposite the Other, Monark, Tresor and Matthew Mole set to perform. Tickets cost R495. Click here to book your spot.

Basson Laubscher and Sannie Fox
Kill City Blues presents Friday Night Live is happening again this Friday at Aces n Spade Bar in Cape Town. Catch Basson Laubscher and Sannie Fox live. Entry is free and things kick off at 21:00. Click here for more info. 


Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute
Bertie’s in his garage again, this time with Wayne Pauli on lead vocals and guitar, James Kibby on vocals and guitar, Mike Dorea on vocals and Bass and Alan Thwaites on Drums. Bertie, the backyard mechanic from Parow is played by Graham Burton. He tells the story of CCR and John Fogerty from his perspective. From the early years of CCR through to the present, he recalls the events that shaped Fogerty’s life, and his own, with more than 20 hits, such as,  Suzie Q, Hey Tonight,  I Put a Spell on You, and Bad Moon Rising the audience is taken on a humorous and poignant journey through John Fogerty’s life. Valiant Swart
Afrikaans singer Valiant Swart will be performing at Café Roux in Cape Town on Friday at 19:00. Valiant will be joined on stage with Simon Orange (keys), and himself on guitar and vocals. Join him as he combines his classic songs – some poignant, some sad, some absolutely hilarious, with the storytelling style of a true raconteur. Tickets cost R120. Click here for more info.

Native Young
When asked how he would describe Native Young – creator of the project Yannick says, "It’s a constantly evolving tapestry of culture, emotion and melody". Formed in the garage of a Gugulethu marimba maker in 2014 – this brotherhood is blurring lines and breaking cultural barriers through their own distinct brand of ‘Kasi pop’. With members stretching from Khayelitsha to Spain – Native Young is an independent collective hosting a menagerie of rotating talent and eclectic taste.
