Cape Town - It’s almost the weekend and if you don’t have any plans yet, then look no further!

Southern Wild
Cape Town-based rockers Southern Wild landed the spot of resident band for the month of November at The House of Machines in Cape Town. They’ll be playing every Friday night, starting on 3 November, from 21:00 – 11:00, and the best part is, it’s free! Click here to find out more.

Hugh Masekela Heritage Festival
While Hugh himself will not be performing at the festival anymore, the line-up is still very impressive with artists such as Riky Rick, Oliver Mtukudzi, Papa Penny, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Bye Beneco, Johnny Cradle, Zoe Modiga, BCUC as well as others set to perform. The festival is taking place on Saturday 4 November in Soweto. Click here for more details.

Alien Ant Farm
US band Alien Ant Farm is touring South Africa for the first time together with their good friend, SA singer-songwriter and producer Esjay Jones (formerly of Stealing Love Jones). They’ll be playing their last SA show in Cape Town on Friday 3 November. Click here for all the deets. 


John Legend
It’s almost time for 10-time Grammy Award winner, John Legend, to entertain SA fans again with his beautiful voice. He will be performing in Johannesburg this weekend on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November. Get all the deets here.

Befokte Fees
Catch Francois van Coke, Koos Kombuis, Gerry Liberty and more live on Saturday 4 November at this open air food and music festival. The festival is taking place at Knorhoek Wine Farm near Stellenbosch. Tickets cost R185. Doors open at 11:00. Click here for more info.
