Los Angeles - Rapper Drake plans to take a break from his career this summer and focus on completing his studies.
The Make Me Proud star revealed that he aims to obtain his high school diploma instead of making and performing his music.
He told website NowToronto.com: "I'm actually spending my summer graduating high school. That's my main focus (...) I only have one credit left, and I'm really excited about that."
Drake recently picked up five nominations for this year's MTV Video Music Awards, including Video of the Year for his track Take Care.
The event will be held in Los Angeles on 6 September.
