Pippa wanted for Strictly Come Dancing

London - Pippa Middleton is being targeted by Strictly Come Dancing bosses for next year's series.

Show chiefs are said to be ''very keen'' to sign the brunette beauty - the sister of Britain's Duchess Catherine - up to the BBC One dancing competition, and it is hoped she might accept a position on the programme in 2013 because it is regarded as ''tasteful''.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''It is universally viewed as tasteful so there is very little stopping Pippa.

''Bosses will be very keen to get her, but they approach a lot of people every year.''

Pippa - who shot to fame last year as the maid of honour at her sister and Prince William's wedding, when her shapely behind made headlines - turned down an offer to star on Strictly in 2011, but producers are hopeful she will sign in 2013 as publicity from the wedding has died down.

Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli thinks Pippa - who could receive a five-figure sum to star on the show - would look ''amazing'' on the programme.

He said: ''She has great buttocks and would look amazing in the dresses.''
