Charles - whose grandfather was King George VI - also gave the "wonderful" prince's moniker a royal seal of approval, telling a member of the public: "George - a very good name."

Charles was joined by his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, at the event, and the pair were inundated with presents for George, including a toy red dragon, which symbolises Wales, to mark the family connections to the country. The pair also received a tiny T-shirt for the tot. publishes all comments posted on articles provided that they adhere to our Comments Policy.
