Ekaterina Karaglanova, a Russian-born influencer, was found dead in her apartment just days before she turned 25.
The young woman was found stabbed to death and dumped in a suitcase in her flat in Moscow on Friday 26 July, according to The Independent.
It’s reported her parents became wary after not hearing from her for a few days and decided to contact her landlord, which led to the discovery of her mutilated body in the hallway of her apartment.
According to E News, the social media influencer who had more than 100 000 followers, was stabbed in the neck and chest. There were no signs of a struggle and police couldn’t find the murder weapon on the scene.
A suspect, Ekaterina’s ex-boyfriend, has since been arrested in connection with her death, The Telegraph reported.
His arrest comes after leaked CCTV showed the suspect entering the 24-year-old’s apartment before leaving with a suitcase just days before her disappearance.
Ekaterina, who’d recently graduated as a doctor, last shared a post with her followers of herself by the poolside while on vacation in Greece.
