Cape Town – Queen Elizabeth ll is celebrating her 90th birthday in true Royal style.

While HRH is spending the day at Windsor Castle, near London, with her family, Buckingham Palace issued three official photographs of the queen posing with some of her favourite people.

The portraits were taken by photographer Annie Leibovitz at Windsor Castle just after Easter.

The first is of the queen seated with her seven young grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including 11-month-old Princess Charlotte, whom she holds in her arms.

Side note: How cute is little Mia Tindall (holding the queen's handbag), the two-year-old daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall

We can’t get enough of the cuteness!

The second is of Queen Elizabeth ll and four of her fluffy friends. Clockwise from top left Willow, Vulcan, Candy and Holly.

And the third portrait is of the queen and her daughter, The Princess Royal seated in the White Drawing Room at Windsor Castle.
