Cape Town - The Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (ASA) has ruled in favour of KZN beverage producer Frankie's in a case of product and packaging infringement against retailer Woolworths, reports MoneyWeb.
According to the article, Frankie's reported Woolworths to the ASA for "blatantly copying its products and packaging".
Mike Schmidt, the owner of the Frankie's brand, told MoneyWeb that the ASA ruling stated that Woolworths had copied Frankie's slogan and the large retailer would have to remove the beverages from their stores.
