Cape Town – A new book about Nelson Mandela entitled Nelson Mandela by Himself – The Authorised Book of Quotations, was released on Monday by the former president’s foundation in Johannesburg.
The hard cover book consists of 288 pages and includes more than 2 000 of Mandela’s inspirational and historical quotes.
The oldest quote dates back to letters he wrote in 1948.
The collection consists of Mandela’s personal archive of letters, speeches and sound recordings.
