Cape Town – Lesego Malatsi, a young designer from Soweto, has made his debut at the London Fashion Week, reports The Guardian.
Malatsi manages his own business, Mzansi Designers Emporium, that currently provides 17 people with jobs.
He also has a 5-year plan; to create 850 work opportunities in South Africa.
"I never dreamed I would be showing my clothes on the international stage," said Malatsi.
"I never realised it can happen and it's very exciting."
An organiser of the London Fashion Week said that Malatsi's clothing range was very popular on the ramp, and was full of praise for his work.
