Drake and Adele may not seem like they’re perfectly matched, but these two Grammy winners appear to have a budding friendship.
They linked up last weekend in Los Angeles – not to record new music, but to just “hang”, TMZ reports.
First, they headed out for dinner at a chain restaurant which is known for its star clientele, and then went bowling at Pinz Bowling.
The two reportedly rented out the entire venue for themselves and a few friends to ensure their privacy.
There have been no social media posts or fan photos from the evening, Harper’s Bazaar reports.
After they were done bowling, the duo went to Chill N Vape Lounge – and an insider revealed that Drake even brought his Juul [e-cigarette] along to vape.
The unlikely friendship came about in October last year, after Adele (30) had seen Drake (32) in concert.
“Oiii Champagne Papi blew my mind tonight!” she tweeted. “Best production I’ve ever seen hands down and way up there with one of my favorite shows of all time. Huge love”
Drake responded by sharing a heartfelt message of his own on Instagram.
That wasn’t the first time Drake and Adele – who’s married to Simon Konecki – have let the public in on just how much they adore each other, according to People.
In 2015, after Drake released his hit Hotline Bling, Adele volunteered her services for a potential remix.
