Cape Town - It’s believed that a cat has nine lives but after surviving yet another near-death incident we’re convinced that Arnold Schwarzenegger has more.

The 72-year-old, who’s showing no signs of aging ahead of the Terminator: Dark Fate screening, recently revealed how he almost lost his life after suffering complications during his sixth heart operation, Mirror reported.

But it should come as no surprise that Arnold was more worried about his heart op delaying his filming schedule while shooting his upcoming movie.

Barely a week after the life-threatening operation, Arnie was back in the gym pumping iron.

“I train every day. I ride bikes every day, I ski and I still do a lot of sports. So for me, it’s a little more normal that I’ll come in and do my action movies being ready and in shape,” Arnold revealed about the preparation for his roles.

While he may make hitting the gym look like child’s play, he confessed that getting back into the swing of things does take its toll on him, Metro reported.

Yet the former bodybuilder says he’ll still be strutting around on screen in his birthday suit as he did in the first Terminator in 1984, The Sun reported.

“I can still do that. I can still arrive naked,” he boasted.
