Cape Town - Ava Phillippe and mom Reese Witherspoon are totes mother-daughter goals.
The pair, who’ve often made red carpet appearances together, have become one of Hollywood’s most popular mother-daughter duos, especially after they twinned at the Big Little Lies season 2 premiere.
Taking to her Instagram page, the 19-year-old gushed over her movie star mom.
“This is the gorgeous woman who taught me about the power of graciousness, love, ambition and hard work,” wrote Ava, whose father is Reese’s ex-husband, actor Ryan Phillippe (44).
“She inspires me every day to live with gratitude for the life I’ve been given and compassion for others. I’m thinking about her a little extra today, that’s all.”
Reese (43) later responded in the comments, writing, “How did I get so lucky to have a daughter like you?”
In an interview with E News, the A Wrinkle in Time actress described how similar her eldest child is to her.
“I think the way Ava and I are most alike is our strong opinions and our empathy," the Oscar winner revealed.
“From the time that she could speak Ava has always had her own ideas, and I love to watch her express herself."
