When it comes to unpacking the inner dealings of the Royal Family, reading between the lines is important.

And in a recent interview with Giovanna Fletcher on her podcast Happy Mum, Happy Baby, Kate may have let slip how she truly feels about Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision to shield Archie from the world.
The Sussex’s opted against posing for hospital photos after Archie’s birth in May last year, breaking a decades-long royal tradition.
They first wanted to “celebrate privately as a new family" before sharing pictures with the rest of the world, writes Town and Country.
Only two days after his birth, the family posed for a restricted photo opportunity in St. George's Hall at Windsor Castle.
Archie’s private birth and their decision to keep his christening out of the public eye caused an outcry.
If they wanted the benefits of royal life they would have to make the sacrifices; was the general consensus of the British public, the funders of their lavish lifestyle.
The royal family kept mum on Meghan and Harry’s unconventionally guarded lifestyle – until now, it seems.
During an interview with Giovanna, in which she opened up about the birth of Prince George in 2013, Kate admitted she was “terrified” to pose on the hospital steps hours after delivering her bundle of joy.
But she knew she couldn’t let the public down.
"Everyone had been so supportive and both William and I were really conscious that this was something that everyone was excited about,” she explained, adding the public’s support was important to them.
“And you know we’re hugely grateful for the support that the public had shown us, and actually for us to be able to share that joy and appreciation with the public, I felt was really important.”

Kate’s interview with Giovanna was to promote her 5 Big Questions survey, which is a UK-wide survey on the under 5s.
The survey comes after eight years of work and research. Its findings delve into early childhood and allows the public to give their opinion on raising the future of the country.
Kate also described holding her newborn son for the first time as “utterly extraordinary”.
"Amazing, amazing. It is extraordinary as I’ve said,” she gushed.
“How can the human body do that? It is utterly extraordinary actually. And he was very sweet. And also sort of relieved that he was a happy, healthy boy."
She also discussed Prince William’s reaction at becoming a dad for the first time.
"Seeing, you know your husband, William, and things like that. Seeing the pure joy of his face it was really special."
