Donald Trump sports a new hairdo – and people are loving it

His trademark fluffy hairdo has been the butt of many jokes.

In fact, beyond that, The Guardian reckons it’s “one of the great mysteries of the Trump presidency”.

Donald Trump’s tresses has relentlessly been mocked for its structure, unidentifiable colour and tenuous yet secure hold on the US president’s scalp.

So when the 72-year-old sported a new hairdo while attending a church service in Virginia, social media went into overdrive.

According to the Daily Mail, Trump visited the evangelical church straight after a round of golf at Trump National Golf Club in Potomac Falls.

Trump, still in his golf shoes, seemed uncomfortable as he removed the baseball cap he was wearing when Pastor David Platt prayed for him.

The president didn’t address the congregation members, leaving the stage directly afterwards. But his silent appearance was enough to cause a stir on social media.

Most users loved Trump’s new look, with some comparing him to Michael Douglas' Gordon Gekko in the hit film Wall Street, writes The Sun.

"I hope he keeps his hair slicked back. Much better," one user wrote.

While another added: "Trump's hair looked way better at that church in Virginia than I have ever seen it look. Why does he insist on his hair making him look like a Michael Myers mask?"

Dare we say, he looks quite handsome.
